2012 ADDY Awards

The AAF-Inland Empire is proud to announce the dates for its 2012 ADDY competition and Gala. The AAF-Inland Empire ADDYs® are the first step in the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting about 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising. As the premier event for the AAF-Inland Empire, we encourage you to review your work throughout the year with the ADDYS in minds so that you can be sure to include all your worthy pieces for judging.

We are also pleased that our gala will be returning to the Historic Mission Inn in Riverside on March 9, 2012.

November 1, 2011: Competition open for entries
January 27, 2012: Regular Deadline for entries
February 3, 2012: Late Deadline for entries (comes with a late fee)
March 9, 2012: ADDY Gala at the Historic Mission Inn, Riverside

ADDY Gala Reservation Form

Order early for your discounted tickets and best seating to the 2012 ADDY Gala.

Individual AAF-IE Members can purchase up to two (2) tickets at member pricing or as many tables as they wish.  Corporate members can purchase up to eight (8) tickets at member pricing or as many tables as they wish. Individual and corporate members may purchase additional tickets at general public pricing.

Seating is assigned based on receipt of this form and payment.  Therefore the earlier your purchase ADDY Gala tickets, the closer your seats will be to the stage!  In addition, place your order by Friday, February 10 and receive a discount! Your seating assignment is provided at the registration area at the ADDY Gala Reception.

Dinner will start with locally-grown baby green salad and your choice of a marinated beef trip tip or a vegetarian meal of gnocchi and ricotta cheese-filled ravioli.  Dinners include garlic mashed potatoes and a bouquetiere of seasonal vegetables.  For dessert we will serve crème brulee with seasonal berries.  Coffee or hot tea is included.   Please specify the number of vegetarian meals on the ADDY Gala Reservation Form.

About the ADDYS

Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation, the local AAF-Inland Empire ADDY® Awards is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie for recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local winners compete against other winners in one of 14 District competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national ADDY® Awards competition. Entry in the AAF-Inland Empire ADDY® competition is the first step toward winning a national ADDY®.

Selection of the most creative entries is effected by a scoring process in which a panel of judges evaluates all creative dimensions of every entry.

The Student ADDY Awards is also a three-tier national competition, which is sponsored by the AAF and National Ad 2. Occurring in conjunction with the prestigious ADDY Awards, the Student ADDY Awards recognize and reward creative excellence by students.
